XXL components. There are almost no limits to the size of the MEMV® process. It can relax components up to 200 tons and more with the help of vibration technology. In stress relieving these limits are reached faster, since the transport to the annealing furnace of such a component is already a major challenge. Also, the annealing furnace itself must be sufficiently large. Especially in such cases, the MEMV® is the technology of the future and is not a competitive process for stress relief annealing. Where appropriate, a combination of both technologies is conceivable: Since stress-relieved components often still have residual stresses, such components can then additionally be processed using the MEMV® process.
