For metal relaxing with vibration WIAP MEMV® is the most important part of the process of measuring components during the manufacturing and machining process. Measuring tensions using the borehole method is only punctual. The test method WIAP MEMV type A, the G-shift thus saves a lot of time. This method makes it possible to detect at the entire component at different, arbitrary points where stresses are and where not. If the G moves, measured at the same measuring point, there are tensions in the component. If the Gs remain at the measuring point before the process, as stable after the process, there are no stresses in the workpieces. During vibration, there is tension in the part: the explanation is that the atoms are looking for and moving the most convenient way in the case of stress. In a stress-free component, the atoms do not have to move because they are already in the right place. This means that there is no longer a distorted grid. If these are displaced, there is tension in the component.

WIAP AG has taken several hundreds of measurements since 2014 and can show them for identification.

There are few methods of measuring to measure voltages that are non-destructive at various locations on a component and are also affordable. Only the WIAP MEMV method with the G displacement can do this. This measuring method was applied for a patent in early 2017 by WIAP AG.
